18th AUGUST 2016

We are absolutely delighted with another excellent set of Post 16 results.

  • We have consistently achieved a good pass rate for A level – this year’s A-E pass rate is 98%.
  • Our vocational students achieved 100% pass rates across all subjects for the sixth year running with a significant increase in the number of students achieving merits and distinctions.
  •  Excellent results in the extended project qualification [EPQ] with 36% A*-A pass rate, 64% A*-B and 100% A*-D.
  • Our Football Academy also achieved a pleasing results and continues to maintain an outstanding pass rate.

We have gone from strength to strength each year: Our success has been due to a combination of  strong targeting and support for students and our independent study programme which has helped students, particularly in research -based subjects. We would like to thank the staff who have given many additional hours of guidance and support to help our students realise their potential.

Many of our students achieved fantastic results, particularly in terms of progress made since they joined Thomas Bennett:
