42 pupils from Years 9 & 10 helped run the Sussex Schools Parallel Youth games. All the pupils were an absolute credit to the school, receiving many compliments on their leadership skills throughout the day. The pupils were divided up amongst swimming, tennis, cricket, golf and dance. They helped and encouraged pupils with various disabilities compete in their events and enjoy the day. Well done to all those pupils involved!
Here is some feedback that we received
"Thanks for today - always a great event, which I think must be tricky to organise! Could you pass on our thanks to the sports leaders please. One of the lads ran the second half of the 600m with one of our slower finishers in the boys race and was encouraging him along. We noticed a few sports leaders doing this which was fantastic to see."
