6th Form Graduation 29th June 2017
About 140 Sixth Form students and their parents attended the Thomas Bennett Graduation Ceremony which was held in the Council Chambers, Town Hall, Crawley. It was a fantastic opportunity to celebrate individual successes and the significant contribution students have made to the school and local community. Distinguished guests and speakers included His Worship the Mayor of Crawley, Councillor Brian Quinn, the Mayoress Mrs Sue Quinn and the College Governors.
Speeches were made by the Mayor, Shouvick Ghosh, the Head of Sixth Form and Pauline Montalto Head of School. A funny and moving speech was also presented by the Head Boy and Girl Harry Poynton and Charlotte Larner. Mr Ghosh stated;
“This has been one of our outstanding and most memorable cohorts - I’m very proud of each and every one of you“
Award winners included Charlotte Simmons for outstanding academic achievement. Charlotte has received an offer from Cambridge University to study natural sciences. Awards were also given to Grace Davies for her dedication and commitment to learning and Matthew Calver received the football academy student of the year award.
Following the ceremony students had time to say goodbye to friends and teachers at their Graduation Ball which took place at Lingfield Racecourse in the evening. Staff and students enjoyed a delicious buffet meal and then danced the night away!

We cannot thank Thomas Bennett enough for what it has allowed us to achieve and prepare us for the future. Plus, creating friendships and memories which will last forever"
