Curriculum Intent

At Thomas Bennett all students have the opportunity to study computing in Key Stage 3, covering a range of topics across both ICT and Computing. The emphasis is on building skills in ICT which can be used across the curriculum whilst also developing their understanding of the principles of computing, programming, how digital systems work and using ICT in a safe and responsible way.  By studying this range of topics, students are able to make an informed decision in their option choices, where they can choose to study ICT or Computer Science.
